Ceramic transfers / ceramic decals are often required to decorate tableware and hotel-ware. This can be just a few items, but can also extend to comprehensive ranges of ware. At Image 90 Limited, we possess the skills and experience to ensure the correct fit and styling of a design is maintained across all shapes. We pride ourselves on our ability to meet tight production schedules, particularly when dealing with ceramic transfers for hotel-ware, for which demanding deadlines are often important. We also produce ceramic decals for collector pieces, period reproductions, high value precious metal decorations, tea sets, mugs and commemorative ware.

Less complicated badges and logos are no less important and may be for a single restaurant or hotel and can be printed in “house colours” or precious metals.

Our ceramic decals can be tailored to suit onglaze, inglaze or underglaze applications covering firing temperatures from 750°C up to 1100°C and above. For some patterns, particularly hotel-ware and household tableware, the use of lead free pigments is often necessary in order that the fired ware will comply with the very stringent legislation controlling the heavy metal release levels enforced by some governments. We are completely familiar with these needs and stock the relevant ranges of pigment to enable our decals to comply with these controls.

Collector’s Plates, commemorative plaques and prestige services can require ceramic transfers containing many colours and high value precious metals such as Burnish Gold and Platinum. Our high standards enable us to achieve the required quality associated with these applications. We often work closely with customers at the design stage with advice on how to achieve the best possible results for their product.
